I graduated from Ferndale High School in 2015, and that is where I first developed my passion for pottery. Fine Arts credits (classes) were required to graduate, so I enrolled in a ceramics class, having no idea what it would become. The hobby I started doing for fun evolved into a part-time business and now a full-time adventure. I am very excited for the future, especially as I moved from a shop that I helped build in my parents’ backyard now to a commercial space in downtown Ferndale.
I enjoy creating functional pottery for others to use, such as cups, bowls, pie plates and soup mugs, to name a few. I have been told the colors I like to use – blues, greens and tans – reflect my “old soul,” but I like to frequently experiment with new color combinations as well. When I am not making pottery, you can find me playing ultimate frisbee or at a local garage sale. I love the outdoors and collecting all sorts of things – rocks, knives, Hot Wheel cars and more.
I hope you enjoy my pottery as much as I enjoy making it!
